Cushna explains to Aphraar how religious beliefs can prevent spirit communication, a natural part of life. He outlines the hypocrisy in Christian beliefs regarding God, spirit life and spirit communication with Earth. Cushna also explains the attractions and bonds that exist between people on Earth and people in the spirit world.
Spirit nuns ask Jesus questions about what it means to repent and forgive. Jesus helps them to move on to a better place by explaining that they must release some of their religious beliefs about God, as well as the pain that they harbour within them from their life on Earth.
